With work, school, homework, dinner, and Saturday activities, who has time to clean? Everyone’s talking about those MAJOR spring cleaning projects we should be doing to keep our houses looking great. How do we fit THAT into our schedule? Pick a full day, if possible. Or you could find small windows of time, such as a couple hours in the evening or on a Saturday. The following are seasonal jobs that could each be done in about two hours or less:
- Wash light fixtures and ceiling fans.
- Wash bedding.
- Wash windows, inside and out.
- Wash blinds and curtains.
- Clean carpet and rugs.
- Wash walls.
- Wipe off kitchen cabinet fronts and top.
- Clean inside pantry and cabinets.
- Clean out junk drawers.
- Clean refrigerator.
- Clean oven.
- Polish wood floors.
- Clean out and organize messy closets.
- Clean out and organize paperwork and files.
- Clean and organize kid’s bedrooms and playrooms.
- Clean and organize family photos.
- Clean out bathroom cabinets.
- Clean furniture upholstery and leather furniture.
- Clean lint out of dryer vent and hose.
- Check batteries and replace in smoke alarms and check fire extinguishers.
